Eyup Tony,

It would be best if people posted the info on here, rather than to you personally, then we all get a taste of what it is/isn't like.

Now then, Tony!

I did have a 'bit of a look' at NZ a couple of years ago. Once I found out that a fair few NZ truckers move to Canada I thought that that spoke volumes and binned the idea.

I also came across some worrying reading regarding the gang culture/problems that are more prevalent than most folk realise. I can find that sort of crap in the UK without moving half way around the world!!

Plenty of gangs in Canada too, who are much more violent than in the Uk.

NZ is nice. You should go and look at British Expats, as one particular member used to know the in's and out's of OZ and NZ, and old posts would probably answer everything you need to know. Just do a search.

Hi,

i am ex kiwi living in Austraila , gangs no bigger problem in NZ than Canada.
Trucking a lot different to Canada

Have frend depot/ dispatch manager for small rural freight company, dealing with livestock & timber & milk cartage, very seasonal.

NZ very small country, compared to Canada, USA & Austraila.

The only sign I have seen of any type of gang in Canada is the escape committee formed at H&R

 Youre a bad one Dave!

Seriously though, MS13 members have been popping up across Canada. Toronto is FULL of gang related violence and its getting worse. You should be ok out in the sticks though
